    I tend to sadly agree.

With the Brazilian economy in the dole-drums popularism of the PS and Lula will be strong.

Then again — maybe he hasn’t read the Royal Society article about why he should be vaccinated...

...or perhaps someone in his adoring crowd will stab him in his abdomen...

Our tour by invitation was completely unofficial — but the fine people treated their guests as only Aurelio Montes and his partners would care for their very best of friends.

The entire Montes staff exude the highest of class and excellence in what they do.

The small Zapallar valley does have a very limited aquifer which limits expansion — but its an ideal area for growing wine grapes.

Our day was just perfect — the weather — the countryside — the delicious cuisine created by the Argentine chef Francis Mallmann — the outstanding wines — the incredible hospitality all were perfection!

Speaking of perfection — truly enjoying the very best of life can be best imagined as Giancarlo Giannini cordially inviting his niece to discover Italy: https://youtu.be/XujO3CZn1L0

...and I unashamedly envy THINK’s current abode on the Ligurian Riviera...

Anyone that does not appreciate the tremendous satisfaction of growing fruit or seeking excellence in the finer things of life are sadly pathetic.

“All Men Die — Few Ever Really Live!”

(And I would recommend utilizing a driver for events like today — which was a very wise decision — as both ma mariée enchantresse and I were both giggling in the back seat on our return to Viña.)

    ¡SALUDOS!

(BTW: The definition of complete asinine IGNORANCE is not knowing Bolsonaro was stabbed with a knife during his presidential campaign.)

    Estimado THINK — Jack Bauer

Both of us went cycling early this beautiful morning and have just returned and ma mariée is baking pain aux noix et vin rouge with pistachios.

The remarkable Chilean painting of the wreck of the ship ‘Joven Daniel’ is another historical example of Chile’s entrenched xenophobia against poor helpless immigrants that escaped the poverty of their own countries to seek a productive life in my country.

This shameful example of what was Chile’s ruling class anti-immigration prejudice — is a sad example of dehumanization and extreme racial intolerance.

As you all know, I have been very much against land expropriation and re-distribution — but in this case — the government rightfully redistributed the large land holdings of the entrenched land owners (that never paid their property taxes) and generously gave it to hard working productive immigrants for them to grow crops.

Thank you THINK for allowing this disgusting historical example of dehumanizing anti-immigrant intolerance of Chile’s landed class to be fully exposed!

Changing subjects — Several countries have halted the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine. Denmark, Iceland and Norway have stopped administering the shot while Italy has banned the use of a batch of AstraZeneca doses as a precaution after an unconfirmed number of people developed blood clots.

I really detest the Chinese and deeply suspect they are the cause of the virus — but the Sinovac vaccine — I actually feel more comfortable having.

The weather here is absolutely marvelous!

    Cheers!

    I don't understand...

All I was just pointing out — was my country's disgraceful historical ruling class xenophobic land owning famlies — who were documented — as terribly mistreating the foreign immigrants — who were just seeking opportunities for re-settlment to my dear Chile.

As another contributor to MP would point out — this type of “dehumanization” of immigrants would be declared in violation of international law.

Again, I appreciate you sharing this terrible example of the historical anti-immigration behavior of Chile's greedy landowners who never paid property taxes.

Like I said — you gave a perfect example for the justified seizure of land by the state for redistributions to the landless immigrants.

Changing subjects — I read about Fabrizio Borraccino's La Veranda Restaurant in Milan with admiration.

He's deeply into white truffles — which Madame's girlfriend was recently raving about.

Have you tried them? I haven't, but I've never tried them.

It's complicated. My previous examination of Lula's conviction seemed to show that he was, indeed, railroaded. On the other hand, even in the solidly 'red' Northeast where I have had ample opportunity to sample sentiment, there is strong Bolsonaro support across all social strata. An electoral decision should be welcomed, rather than behind the scenes shenanigans by the brahmins.

You make a good point! As mentioned, I assisted an irrigation project near Petrolina a decade ago and the rampant ingrained corruption was appalling.

Especially notable by the evident corrupt state of Pernambuco vs the outrageous outright piracy by the state of Bahia — just across the river.

The area sits on a vast productive valley with enormous water resources from the São Francisco reservoir.

There are thousands of empty hectares that could easily be developed.

Unfortunately the level of education and lack of ambition demonstrated by the populace is only exacerbated by the corrupt local governments there.

The workers have the sad habit of buying a sack of beans and a jug of cachaça after getting a paycheck and not returning to work for days.

Family desertion and bigamy a sadly common with a lot of severe poverty.

    Best of luck!

Thanks for sharing the video of the dangers of many women that are evil psychopaths and the true feminine nature of manipulating men.

There is no reason why I’m still married except because of serendipitous luck!

Despite my earlier complaints — I can only say that I was personally highly fortunate to encounter a wonderful woman.

I admit foolishly falling head-over-heels for an underage ravishing mademoiselle that cunningly used her older sister’s ID to attend a dance. (I truly had no idea she was so young or bewitching the temptress was) — but after the ensuing outrageous family scandal of her age and her father threatening to kill me...

...we married in a formal Naval marriage with swords — and rented a tiny apartment in the hills of Valparaiso.

Soon after our daughter was born — we used a loan from my father as a modest down-payment and purchased a modest small apartment in Viña del Mar which was our very first property.

After buying the farm interest from my family relations — I reinvested all the farm earnings back into our farm and used another employment based in Santiago — to build our marvelous home in Chicureo.

We shamelessly raised our children like gypsies and although they all continuously attended the Grange School — they were accustomed to sleeping in multiple beds in multiple locations (Chicureo ~ Viña ~ Panquehue) which only Chicureo was our main camp.

In 2016 Madame and I were fighting about the dowdy apartment with unprotected parking and the down run farmhouse had its last renovation 6 decades ago. (My oldest daughter summed it up farmhouse in one single word: SMELLY.)

It was exactly 12 months ago — Madame was threatening to again divorce me if we did not acquire the apartment below us in a liquidation.

We have had an acrimonious marriage that nearly resulted in permanent separation on numerous occasions — but I’m still enchanted with the young schoolgirl I fell in love with at a dance a long time ago.

(They have been experimenting with green jet fuel — but now with almost all the airlines bankrupt it will also take even a further amount of time.)

Plus — sailing the Atlantic is not point to point — as that would be barbaric. A civilized 40-60 footer would make many ports o’call with many seductive mermaids of the docks tempting a man to be wrecked.
