Of the three principal domestic air carriers, LATAM must rate as the worst. Over the last decade, our experience with this enterprise has ranged from unsatisfactory to disastrous ( see comments in FlyerTalk ). AZUL appears to be managed and run better. It would be a blessing for the traveling public if AZUL took over. We now actively avoid LATAM and advise friends and family to do the same. Alas, long gone are the good old days of excellent airlines such as VARIG, VASP and LADECO (in Chile).
