Lets keep this in perspective- vaccinations dont stop you getting it, they reduce the risk of transmission but dont prevent it- but they DO stop you becoming significantly ill, Negative at time of boarding just means they were not active carriers at the time- maybe they had picked it up just before but not yet showing it .
Covid is here in the world to stay but following the rules, this ship did meant nobody was likley to end up ill in Hospital- just bad luck it happened on first cruse. - so keep cruising.
