Regarding your earlier question about hyperinflation — everything I see is it is factual — but there is strong confidence that there will NOT be another great depression.
The USA and the EU will experience inflation transitions similar to the early 1970’s. Entities involved in exporting are currently seeing strong demand for commodities despite higher costs.

Study: Internet Trolls Are Also Terrible In Real Life
Internet trolls and video game griefers are just as broken in real life as you've always suspected, according to a new psychology paper by Canadian researchers. It turns out that the same folks who love to disrupt online conversations for the “lulz” are likely to also exhibit some pretty nasty personality traits in general.
Two online studies led by Erin Buckels of the University of Manitoba established “strong positive associations” between “online commenting frequency, trolling enjoyment, and troll identity, pointing to a common construct underlying the measures,”
“The researchers found that the relationship between sadism and trolling was the strongest, and that indeed, sadists appear to troll because they find it pleasurable.”

Of all personality measures, sadism showed the most robust associations with trolling and, importantly, the relationship was specific to trolling behavior. I should update you that we’re still enjoying Valle Nevado with two guests that farm in Chillán located about 400 km south of Santiago.
(They primarily grow apples and kiwi, but they are the suppliers of our chèvre, lamb, pork and specialty mushrooms.)
Saturday, we sampled a pleasant Sangiovese ‘14 Brunello di Montalcino, Marchesi Antinori, Pian delle Vigne which was quite good and priced here at approx USD135.
We were less impressed with Sunday’s Bordeaux ‘16 Margaux - Château Cantenac Brown — Brio approx USD64. You can easily match the same quality from Chile for less than USD18.
Of course we’re terribly spoilt with low Chilean prices of really remarkable domestic reds — but we wanted to support one of our favorite nightspots that has been bankrupted by the pandemic restrictions.
(The bistro is not far from our son’s apartment in Vitacura and we used to frequent the events 2 or 3 times a month before the virus shutdown.)

Today’s planned le déjeuner is ham and cheese croque monsieur sandwiches — dipped in egg batter and to be fried in butter (which is known as the Monte Cristo) served with our own farm made apricot-pineapple jam.
The evening’s fare is Occitan soupe à l’oignon — that was pre-made at the farmhouse and frozen that has been defrosted and will be served in ramekins topped with gruyère and toasted sourdough and melted in the convection oven. This accompanied with an assorted charcuterie board will make it a perfect meal!
(There is no doubt that the food at our mountain pied-á-terre is perhaps the finest enjoyed at the resort here. Madame has clearly demonstrated that her cuisine far surpasses typical French onion soup.)
In support of the owners at the Les Dix Vins bistro — we’re planning to open a ‘17 Bordeaux - Château Le Chêne de Margot (modestly priced at USD20) consisting of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec.
(I know, it seems too reasonable for a Bordeaux — but we can always open something else and use the Margot for cooking!)
At the once respected French created ski lodge here (due to COVID restrictions) wine is served in disposable plastic cups and are all outrageously overpriced! It’s truly sad as unfortunately this pandemic has ruined good dining experiences.

Next month we’ll start seedlings in our small hothouse for transplanting in September. (We have over 20 different varieties of tomates alone — which is less than last season although we may increase the quantity of cherry tomatoes.
(Our favorites are the Black Krim from the Ukraine and a very sweet Brandywine heirloom beefsteak with a dark purplish color. Also, the tiny yellow pear cherry tomatoes are amazingly sweet!)

Other than the grandchildren, equestrian activities and pottery — my partner is laser focused on the gardens and we live normally eating and harvesting most our meals the same day.
We’re planning to increase the staggered planting of sweet corn to extend the season — we are firmly decided upon Burpee’s super sweet bicolor varieties.
Everything was going well until Madame’s friend starting her to seriously think about raising a small flock of Araucana chicken hens known for their blue eggs. (I’m all against it, but her friend has convinced that the gardeners can easily take care of the hens.)
By the way, did you notice how poor Skippy has lost his mind since I mentioned him involved in losing lawsuits with transexuals — he has a wealth of amusing videos about subjects such if he actually prefers young boys in romantic situations.

Cut the crap it was you who persisted on a least five occasions about whether my court appearances involved transvestites. So the best way to counter your fiction, is with the truth. Yes, I'm proud of what I've accomplished, I wasn't guilty on any occasion. A proper verdict was occasioned both times, and sloppy police work was also revealed. The best one was the 'wrongdoers' insurers were on the hook for all the damages, because those acquittals ruled mine out, as liable. Those costs will be passed on to owners of those vehicles, in increased insurance rates, for a number of years to come.

Chickens in South America have a long history with cockfighting documented in the native population at the time of Spanish conquest. Besides horses and cattle, pigs were very prized contributions from the Spaniards.
(As perhaps you’ll sympathize — Madame DeFarge’s suggestion of raising hens is not a suggestion… …keeping our marriage requires exceptional patience when she makes up her mind!)

Today’s planned le déjeuner is a family favorite — Flamiche aux poireaux with a flaky buttery crust filled with an out of this world mixture of Chillán bacon, leeks, shallots, cream and also Chillán produced chèvre.
This evening’s fare is gambas al ajillo and pulpo a la gallega accompanied with patatas bravas with a spicy sauce accompanied with of course freshly baked sourdough baguettes with garlic butter.

Yesterday I shared a video on the preparation of the delicious pulpo a la gallega and this afternoon the simple preparation of Spain’s iconic recipe of gambas al ajillo, which is made from large frozen prawns ideally (but normal shrimp works as well) which will define our apartment as inhabited by gypsies!

The marvelous smell of sautéed garlic is essential in the preparation of octopus and prawns with sourdough baguettes to soak up the garlic infused olive oil nectar absolutely essential! Obviously the patatas bravas also require plenty of garlic as well!
(I remember some time ago a certain cretin deriding our gypsy cuisine because of our use of garlic and I feel only a sad pity for them — although I would pity any person revulsed from the marvelous aroma.)
Obviously the chilled Sauvignon Blanc will be used as a perfect compliment to savor the meal and obviously one bottle will not be sufficient.
Speaking of the nectar of Dionysus — the 22 year old Viña Chadwick Seña has been lusted after by my guests as it’s a rare treat to sample. A perfectly prepared quality steak is proper to balance the noble vintage.
The frozen thick sirloins have nearly successfully defrosted in the refrigerator and although it’s a crime to freeze beef — it was a logistical necessity due to limited space in our refrigerator. (They were specially ordered from our specialty butcher at 3.8cm [1.5 inches] in thickness and vacuum packed.)
This is the beauty of food and the glory of experimenting to enjoy it. Food is transformative. It's alchemical. It should be something so simple, the combination of a few products and ingredients presented on a plate — and yet it's so much more than than Terence’s frozen microwaveable pizza!

My ancestors make me proud!
Madame’s Lycée Français girlfriend’s husband has been an enjoyable guest who I greatly admire having far more patience than myself. (Certainly, Lycée Français écolières are quarrelsome and characteristicly difficult!)
He farms apples and kiwi in Chillán with his wife running a marginally profitable business primarily focused on specialty chèvre. We source our lamb, duck, pork, mushrooms as well as mushrooms — and as they have forest land have introduced Italian truffle spores as that is becoming very popular here in Chile.
However — their most profitable enterprise has been the production of Honeycrisp, Pink Lady and Jazz variety apples. Currently he’s thinking of transitioning his kiwi orchards in the next few years and already has a test planting of new varietal cherries.
Does Terence consider himself as a narcissist enabler is nothing more than a covert narcissist impressed with the apparent confidence or success of a more overt narcissist.
Such an enabler like Terence may admire the other narcissist and feed his self-esteem and identity by living vicariously through that partner. Or the more covert narcissist may derive satisfaction and social attention and approval from managing the overt narcissist’s difficult and selfish personality.

I’m currently savoring another large mug of Baileys coffee while admiring two very attractive adult women giggle like the teenagers — that I actually first came to meet at a formal dance where they literally sneaked into with fake IDs!
My mother’s first interaction with my fiancé was really horrendous — until she found out that her first grandchild was on the way! (From then on — the lecture changed to “how could you! You’re a grown man and she’s just a girl!” My future father-in-law actually wanted me arrested!)
Those times seem humorous now — but then it was a family outrage and disgrace!
As I mentioned — we’ve ran out of a few produce items which Madame and her girlfriend solved last night with a quick trip to the La Parva village express market and returned with several items including some outrageously expensive hydroponically grown Little Gem lettuce and hothouse tomatoes.
(The Little Gem variety lettuce we’re planting again in our gardens as it has the perfect attributes of a Romane lettuce hearts with the delicacy of a Boston Bibb variety.)

(We also have another bottle of Viña Arboleda Brisa — made with 37% Petit Verdot 33% Cabernet Franc and 30% Malbec — because we need to make a scientific comparison.)

As you can see from the attached recent article — The consumption of the so-called “green gold” is increasing in some markets and there are those who say that in the future the price of avocados will exceed all expectations!
With today’s news — our group’s final net sales returns are historically the highest ever achieved! (Considering for anticipated economic inflation this next season — prices will continue to increase.)
One of our main retailers in the North Eastern USA — Wegmans Food Markets — actually sold last season large sized Chile Hass avocados at an average USD3-4 per fruit! (We’re seeing a trend to focus on exporting most our avocados to the Port of Philadelphia as American demand seems insatiable!)
There is ongoing discussion to continue promote our avocados to Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu — but I’ve elected to remain with the USA and the UK. (The exporting group we’ve been associated with has been very flexible in marketing strategy.)
I’m so pleased that we made the investment to carve out some additional land from the rocky hillside and will plant next month nursery trees that will commercially produce in 2025!
Speaking of “green gold” — today’s salad originally came from California and I highly recommend enjoying the salad perfectly complimented with garlic sourdough croutons and sprinkled with roasted pistachios!
As health specialists promote our superfood — it’s clearly the solution of better health — especially for a Utah narcissist hideous corpulent oinker!

This evening’s fare is simply 4 generously sized sirloin thick steaks that will be first charred on the outdoor grill — then herb-butter basted finished in the convection oven.
The artichoke hearts are to be lightly dipped in tempura batter before frying in sunflower oil — with the crisp Mini Gem lettuce quarters topped with creamy Fourme d'Ambert dressing and sprinkled with bacon bits.
Accompanying our feast is a 22 year old Chadwick Seña and a bottle of ‘16 Viña Arboleda Brisa which we’re already opened and taken a preliminary tasting of the marvelous nectars.
Although I’d prefer to address about our wonderful day — but I’ve been alarmed as our quarrelsome Utah narcissist refuses to accept the image he has before him in the mirror!
(The literally HOURS of video reflect a hideous corpulent physique that Terence’s mental disorder that he pathetically fails to recognize!)

You can see the result of the pandemic restrictions being lifted by the crowds!
The theme was Tex-Mex Chileno style — although best described as what you would encounter in a California Mexican restaurant.
The main plate was delicious chicken chimichangas topped with guacamole and sour cream accompanied with chili rellenos and Mexican rice with an obligatory large bowl of guacamole with corn chips! Appropriately the beer selection was Mexican (although after careful examination: Mexican labels brewed in Chile under license.)
The rowdy cheerful group was far larger than anticipated — but our generous host accommodated us all in very festive style!
(Although it’s possible to take a lift to ski back to our pied-à-terre — we elected to take the shuttle bus back instead.)
This evenings fare is an elaborate charcuterie board which reflects our eclectic enjoyment of fine cuisine and we’re already nearly finished with a ‘16 Viña Arboleda Carménère and perhaps will pull another cork of the same as we’ve nearly depleted our imported wines!
The ignorant is totally blind to the beauty of cuisine and the glory of experimenting to enjoy it and should be something so simple — yet the combination of varied ingredients presented on a wooden platter — attests to enjoying life itself!

It’s no secret that I have a great admiration of fine wine and strongly believe it to be excellent for a healthy lifestyle — if obviously consumed moderately.
(There are however some unfortunate souls that should abstain completely!)
What I find nonsense is that Terence Hill (Skippy Jessop) believes the photograph of a beer mug proves anything other than the same arms in the photograph look identical to the numerous images of Terence Hill’s social media.

Fully agree.....most French wines, imo are overrrated....have had a few of their so-called top-wines, and the style of wine, as far as I'm concerned, is not as good as the top Chileans. But you can't argue over taste....I mean take a look at Terry F*ckwitt.....on top of everything we know about him - poor judgement, poor social-skills, bad taste in clothing, not particularly honest, in fact an outright liar - he loves inflatable dolls....no accounting for taste.
Easy to see that you are enjoying your meals....talking of typical French Onion soup, when we meet up someday, I'll tell you a story about the disaster an overdose of French onion soup caused in NYC during one of our business trips...it was in winter (about minus 5 degrees), and the company president said he knew a great little french bistrot on 55th street just off Broadway...“La Bonne Soupe” if not mistaken.....my boss thought it was excellent,

But I never cease to be amazed by the amount of crap Terry spews. Today, I rarely bother reading any of his posts....just not worth my time.
