As part of the regular review process concerning Covid-19 measures affecting the Falkland Islands, the government is in regular dialogue with LATAM concerning the resumption of flights with South America, namely with Chile and Brazil. Read full article

    Reading between the lines, this sounds like a shot across Argentina's bows regarding AA flights. In other words, LATAM will be back.

    Does this mean that for purely political reasons and due to pressure from the British lobby they are going to deny the inhabitants to return to their homes after two years of being stuck on the islands -with a promise of a flight in, at least, 6 months-, just because they do not accept the offer of the ONLY ones who took care of this situation? Regrettable.
