Still trying to justify the unjustifiable war.

Feat = “an achievement that requires great courage, skill, or strength”. I don't see how a failed invasion, coupled with war-crimes, failure to stick to the Geneva Conventions, ignoring the UN Resolution 502 can be construed as a “feat”. Perhaps Trimonde or Think can enlighten me?

    All things are relative:

Going cap in hand to the IMF time and time again
    Defaulting on loans
Being a laughing stock on the world stage
    Being renowned for corruption
Driving one of the worlds largest economies of a cliff
Brainwashing a population with Malvinas fairytales

    All “feats” in Argentina

but the biggest feat is to get the same population to vote for the Peronists time and time again after screwing them over...

Perhaps they should put a landmine in there.

Give the future generations the ‘real-feel’ of the conflict.

Another embarrassingly puerile monument to Argenzuela's perpetual Third World foolishness and culture of celebrating conspicuous failure.

Will Argentina still be whining in 2082?

    Of course they will.

Will Argentina have taken its arguments to the ICJ.

    Of course they won't.

    Just another pointless gesture

What will the individuals who open the time capsule in 2082 really think about their forefathers? In that year the Islanders celebrate 100 years of the liberation. They are not more Argentine in 2082 than they are now. The British connection is probably still very strong. Perhaps they are a Commonwealth Realm like Canada or New Zealand or still a BOT or something else, but not part of Argentina for sure. But what about Argentina? Grown up and accepted facts or still whining about the so called “usurpation”?
