Well, considering that quite a few of the members of the two top courts, the STJ and the STF are no more than political cronies of one or the other of the presidential candidates, and that the STF twisted (and ignored) the constitution to allow Lula to be released, besides guaranteeing that all investigations against him start from scratch, it's easy to deduce that the majority of Supreme Court Justices are intent on seeing Lula back in power......they have a lot to gain from it, politically and financially.
Just to get the record straight before some useful idiots on here allege I am in favour of Bolsonaro, I am NOT........ the problem in Brazil is that the great majority of voters are uninformed and don't vote intelligently....they can't see that the 3rd option is a good solution to get rid of both Lula and Bolsonaro in one fell swoop.

Spot on, Jack. In my circle of friends and family here in Brazil, it is either uncritically Bolsonaro or PT and these are, by and large, educated people with ample information access. The obvious parallel is the Trump - Democrat divide in the US where a third path is sorely needed to replace the Demopublican / Republicrat one party system.
