Russia urges Argentina, UK to resume sovereignty talks over Falkland Islands
Russia's Foreign Ministry has released a statement from Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova urging for the resumption of negotiations between Argentina and the United Kingdom regarding sovereignty over the Falkland/Malvinas Islands. Read full article

There is little to discuss. Argentina only wants one thing, a colony, and refuses to accept the Charter of the UN, but likes to cherry pick resolutions - we like 2065, we don't like 502... It sides with Russia and is undecided about Ukraine. Argentina is such a basket-case economy now it will reach out to any passing straw to satisfy the “people” (most of whom don't really care about the Falklands.

It would solve nothing, their inflation would still be astronomical and their economy still heading down the tubes. Let's face it, no one in Argentina is capable of or even able to pull the country out of the mire. They will never get their grubby mitts on the Falklands.
