According to Reuters : (13 April 2022) Brazil exports wheat based on market conditions, and those should allow for expansion in the coming year. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Brazilian attaché on Tuesday pegged Brazil's 2022-23 wheat crop at 8.8 million tonnes and exports at 3 million, both records and up a respective 14% and 7% on the year. Once again Our Illustrious President is plucking figures from the air to make sure that he is not to blame for the situation in Brazil.
Thanks, Mark. So why are the 'journalists' at MercoPress unable to include such easily available balancing data? Alas, I follow a good dozen news outlets of all stripes from around the world and this laziness, ineptitude and/or bias is pretty much universal
