    Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...

    - This year marks the 8th. anniversary of the end of the involvment of the British Armed Farces on the Afghanistan conflict..., but nobody seems to call on the British public to remember those Brits who served during the Afghan conflict..., particularly those 457 who paid the ultimate price...

    - I wonder what percent of UK adults know anything about the historical events of their lifetime and how many feel ashamed they don’t know more about their past...

    - I wonder what percent of British adults could name the year the Afghanistan conflict started and why Great Brutain got involved...

    - But..., looking at the results..., it is quite understandable them Engrish don't want to remember shiat...

    Capisce...?

Taenk - best if you confine your comments to matters that you actually know about, that may, of course mean that we very rarely hear from you.

Thousands of people in the UK have daily reminders of Afghanistan. Ordinary families with a father, son, brother partner, struggling with the most appalling injuries, both mental and physical. Then of course there are the families whose father, son, brother, partner never came back. Hundreds of soldiers who made it through the conflict but have never been able to return to anything approaching a normal life. All very invisible to you it seems, safe and secure at the other end of the earth and free to indulge yourself in pontificating about all manner of things about which you really know nothing at all.
Try to confine your comments to matters that you fully understand. If that means we never hear from you again that might just be a very good thing!

Taenk - what I wrote is the complete opposite of what you say in your silly response! Meybe you need to improve your english comprehension.
Can you please explain to us all how you go about brainwashing a turnip ??

Have got many 30+ year old quadriplegics among your cosy little community ? No, I thought not. Quite a few here whose families are very unlikely to forget their trip to Afghanistan.
Like I said - confine your comments to things you know about.

How many Argentine quadraplegics in your country due to the Malvinas Safari THUNK?

At least they have a chance to rebuild.

You are still living in 1982, spewing bile at 3000 happy souls who you envy beyond measure and you humiliate yourself in front of them almost daily.

You really are like Gollum, Think. I pity you.

    Gollum is sweet...
    Pity is good...

Btw..., why don't ya Engrish use some of that pity and write a petition to dear Liz to get her fist out of her gas-chamber and help Aiden & Shaun out of that Ukraine quagmire...?

You've got it wrong again Taenk. You really should confine yourself to the very few things you know about. The Queen has no power. The great strength of the monarchy is not the power held by the Queen but the power her position denies to others. I realise that may be too difficult a concept for you to understand - put simply - who would you rather represented your country on the world stage, Elizabeth 11 , probably the most respected woman in the world or Presidente Christina, a corrupt, over ambitious 2nd rate politician, respected by nobody , desperate to emulate Santa Evita, but fails every time ?

    No contest really !

    I give up!
It is impossible to get through to you. I guess that when you've spent so long hidden away at the uttermost end of the earth with a very limited grasp of anything beyond Patagonia and your dreams of what the Falklands could be if only they were called Las Malvinas we have to accept that you have a bizarre and convoluted grasp of the rest of the world. What a sad, tired , old bigot.

The above Brainwashed Engrish Turnip doesn't know who Liz Truss is...!
I reckon he doesn't even know who Aiden or Shaun are...
    Good thing he gives up...!

(Btw..., if me nice Patagonian piece of heaven is the “uttermost end of the earth ” for them Engrish Turnips........, what's so left for them windblown Malvinas Isles...?)

    Chuckle..., chuckle...

    Wrong againTaenk!
Aiden is from Newark, I grew up just 10 miles from Newark. Shaun did several spells of service on Northern Ireland, I could take you on a tour of the several barracks in which he was based.

You really need to check your facts before sounding off. You also need to update your english, it's about 70 years out of date.

Your obsession with turnips is a bit worrying. Did you have a traumatic experience with a turnip as a child? Ever thought of seeking psychiatric help??

He's really from Denmark, and he has a bug up his arse about his neighbors across the channel.

UK is powerful, Denmark is limp dick. Hence the 2nd grade, school-boy name-calling.

Actually, Liz Truss will probably be the next leader of the Tory party and next Prime Minister of the UK, once Boris retires to the Ukraine, where he is very popular second only to President Zelenskyy.

    You heard it here first.

You could well be right Pugol-H. Harping back to an earlier exchange with our ignorant friend Taenk it's vary good example of what I tried to explain to him. Liz Truss might make a reasonable job of being Prime Ministet but you wouldn't want her to have the full power of a President. Queen Christina however would dearly love to be Monarch, President and Prime Minister and to cap it all - a Saint!

God help Argentina, who needs turnips when you've got the Kirchners.

Different countries have different ideas about what powers a President has.

In countries like Ireland for example the President performs to same role as the Queen in the UK, performs ceremonials and regulates Parliament, where Parliament has the real power to decide matters.

In the US or France Presidents have far more power to decide matters.

CFK basically wants to be loved, probably something to do with her childhood.

The fact that the Islanders disobey and even deride her is what upsets her most, cannot cope with that hence the vitriolic outbursts towards them.

A CFK presidency works for the Islanders as it guarantees a corrupt, economically destitute and otherwise powerless Argentina.

You may recall that when the UK Gov pointedly, completely ignored her, she took to paying UK newspapers to publish letters from her. Which got ridiculed and upset her even more.

Not to mention the long, long, rambling, disjointed and confused addresses to any organisation that would let her in the door.

    P. S. For ‘turnip’ see Portuguese slang meaning for ‘nabo’, hence Ersatz Stinke’s fixation with them. He probably walks funny as well.
