CFK pushes for universal income for Argentines

Argentine Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (CFK) has been reportedly pressing Economy Minister Silvina Batakis to move forward with a proposal to create the so-called Basic Universal Wage (BUW), as a way out of the current scheme of handouts in the form of endless unemployment subsidies.     Trading in local currency would be very good for our economies. I will say more: it is past time for Mercosul and for all of South America to have a single currency.

    Maybe you didn't realize it, but we are witnessing the bipolar world to go towards a multipolar world.
    The dollar is no longer the hard currency it was in 1970/80/90. It's becoming a weak currency with 10% inflation

    You (Brasileiro & Pugol) may be right, but in the short term the US$ trades at 5.41 against the real and at 129.4 against the Argentine peso. I, for one, am motivated to bring more dollars into Brazil for cost-effective spending on projects and expenditures.
