Ukrainian leader wants Latin America to join sanctions against Russia

During a virtual forum held at the Catholic University of Chile, Ukraine's President Volodymir Zelensky claimed Russia did not want his country to develop stronger ties with Latin America, which he urged to join global sanctions against his enemy. Read full article

We will not join. Mr. Zelensky should have known about the risks of becoming a member of NATO (Offensive Alliance) so close to Russia.

...Zelensky's own country is going to hang him the minute he drops his desperation level one notch and the people start connecting the dots and realize what he did to his country, AND the NATO lead West is not going to come out of this with one single new friend, you can be sure of that, rather you will have continued on your trend of loosing admiration and respect from the world. No one lured Tovarishch Putin into invading Ukraine, it was his decision and his alone and has been on his ‘to do’ list for some time now. Ignoring the realities of the situation that he did not like, he fooled himself into thinking it would be easy.

Now he is stuck in a deteriorating situation entirely of his own making.

Similarly if the Chinese decide to invade or ‘special military operation’ Taiwan, the responsibility for this would be entirely theirs and theirs alone and they would have to live with the consequences.

One important difference between Taiwan and Ukraine is that the Taiwanese are much better prepared for an attack than the Ukrainians were.

If the Chinese do decide to invade and they are only fighting the Taiwanese, then they can expect to win but with heavy losses.

If the US military engage, then all the Chinese can expect is heavy losses.
