Prince Andrew won't be travelling to the Falklands with Princess Anne this month

Nov 05th, 2022 - 11:19 am - Link - Report abuse 0Andy wouldn’t be welcomed with open arms by this Falkland Islander and plenty more of us feel the same way. Sure, plenty would also be okay about him visiting but I wouldn’t like to guess the ratio. My gut feeling is that it would be 50:50 at best.
Ann, on the other hand is always a very welcome visitor and also seems to actually enjoy it here. That doesn’t come across from Andrew when he’s here.
like many thousands of brave british military service personel, andy helped to chase out the argie invaders. he was also good enought to open the airport at mpa. as a veteran he has the right to visit the falklands and would be welcomed by the majority.
