I would prefer that Trump and Bolsonaro be prevented from participating in elections.

I know there would be others. So, better to strengthen the Democratic Institutions?

Like microbes, humanity will always find a way to screw things up.

Never has all the peace in the world lasted more than a generation.

I would prefer that Joe Biden and all the Democrats be prevented from participating in elections.

This would strengthen the Democratic institutions.

Actually, I don't prefer this at all.

The commenter in the last post provides a beautiful example of a pseudo-intellect.

Intellectually presented, “My politics is 'clearly' good for democracy, theirs is not”.

Intellectually presented, “For the good of democracy, some people need to be silenced.”

Intellectually presented, “For the good of democracy, some people can't be allowed to run for office, like in Venezuela, Nicaragua, Russia, China, Cuba, etc.”

Spoken like such a democracy expert. Must be a college educated professor, with pretty hair.

You would certainly be qualified for the next elections since Democracy is an open and broad concept.

    You could be elected!

Democracy cannot live with its own destruction!

Democratic values must be felt by all.

And Justice must know how to distinguish between Right and Wrong. Which you clearly refuse.

“I am right. You are wrong. You 'clearly' refuse to know this.”

“Justice knows that I am right”.

    This is true democracy.
