The great powers are already talking about peace. Lula put this word so forgotten in today's world on the agenda.

    Err, no, they are not.

Lula has done nothing but exacerbate the situation and will be remembered for that.

There is no denying it, he dances to Beijing’s tune now.

I am very happy that my country is on China's side. Brics is and always will be our future. The West is a land dominated by speculators who slaughter the people of the world.

    Long live China!

Careful, Brasileiro. As much as I advocate a balanced foreign policy for Brazil, alignment with China is by no means any wiser than dancing on the strings of the US empire. Alas, it may be “, , ,better to be a dog in times of tranquility than a human in times of chaos” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_you_live_in_interesting_times). We live in interesting times, indeed.

    Bras
You have no choice but to be on their side, your economic dependence on China is such that even your foreign policy is dictated by them.

‘Lula's statements were “not a sign of Brazil's strength as a regional power, but of its enormous economic dependence on China to the point of determining its foreign policy and, what is more serious, of the use of the world's reserve currency for a country with such a high foreign debt as Brazil,” argued a political analyst quoted by Politico.’

BTW remembering you lost the argument about Brazil having a foreign debt.

Tell me again what it’s like to be free and not controlled by a foreign power!!!

    Long live China?
    Take a pill, Sindbad.
It is a clear choice. Fight China's predatory practices and thefts of American and Western Technology or become an Economic laggard to China. Chinese have no integrity, honesty, sense of fair play or gratitude for America and the West allowing them to participate in this Global economy. We could have, and probably should have kept China the Communist beggar it was by keeping it out of the Global trade. All the Chinese have done is shown what kind of thieves and wretches they are who absolutely bite the hand that feeds them. There are no different than a snake, actually worse, who knows nothing but to bite. So, the only choice we have is to keep it away or kill it (economically).
“It might just take out Taiwan, for a start. It might just sink a few US carriers...” Appeasing China would lead to the same result, faster. It is rather transparent that Chinese objectives are precisely the military conquest of Taiwan, and eventual attempt at military domination. The unbelievably naïve view was that helping it to economic prosperity will also encourage China towards civilized behavior. Instead, we see a police state that sends millions to concentration camps, supports the worst dictatorship across the planet, pollution and wholesale extinction of animal species. The only question is whether the push back has not come too late.
My view is we need to continually smash the CCP or they will smash us.
I've sharpened my dog's teeth and loaded the shot gun.

I too am prepared for war. You can even enter Brazil, but you will only leave here dead.

And we will bring the war to you. It will be the first time in history that the war will also take place on US soil.

    Long live China!

Ha, you talk a good fight.

As only people who have never had to fight, tend to do.

Oh and there have been a few wars already on US soil.

The world will never be what it used to be. And maybe you'll learn about it the hard way.

There is already an alliance between Russia and India, between Russia and China. By the time the triangulation closes (Russia, India and China), you'll look like bunnies in a forest.

    And don't piss me off......kkkkkkk

‘learn’, is not a word you should use, it is way beyond you.

As for ‘don’t piss you off’, don’t make me laugh. Nabo.
