So Argentina is going to pay for products bought from Brazilian companies with toilet paper.
I am not sure that the companies will be happy about that.
I would recommend that the companies work on the old system, still used by many online sellers. “Cash up front”.

Can’t see anybody accepting payment in Argy Pesos, not going to happen.

Like the man says ‘alternative means of payment, such as swap, or giving credit to the exporter,’

Only way to go, basically running up a different credit card.

The dire situation of the Argentine people has become completely impossible.
One of my friends there report the food prices are untenable with no hope of resolve.
Although I'm sincerely sympathetic, Argentines themselves have created their own economic suicide.

    ¡Saludos!

“...paid directly in pesos to Brazilian companies, which will then convert those pesos into reais.”

    Pure prestidigitation.

Good to see you again Chicureo. Hope you are doing well...

    Lo Barnechea...

    - As the cunning & financially savy..., but still humble exporting campesino you are..., why do you not explain your Brainwashed Anglo Turnip mates above how such a National Banks guaranteed, local currencies credits & payments arrangement is a Win-Win situation for both our Countries...?

    - As to your local Argie FRIEND reporting to you that the food prices are untenable with no hope of resolve....
    - Allow me to remind you that statistically and socially it is almost impossible for YOU to have a FRIEND that ain't into the top decile of our societies...
    - People at that level do not even Tænk about el precio de las papas..., hermanito...
At most they may comment to their FRIENDS about the untenable price of Philipponnat...

    Capisce...?

Thanks for your kind complements. Madame and I are currently enjoying the beautiful Fall weather here in the Aconcagua Valley.

    THINK

Thankfully we here in Chile have had an excellent export season.
I pity your poor country as the “trade agreement” reminds me of a Ponzi scheme...

    Best of luck!

    La Dehesa...

Indeed..., you thankfully there in Chile have had an excellent export season..., to CHINA...
Without the above “Trade Agreement” Brasil would lose some 1,500 million export U$S to Argentina..., who would be forced to buy from the one exporter already giving us that deal...: CHINA...

Let's hope your Anglo friends don't fuck up with CHINA...
Consequences for us, Sudacas would be..., in the best of cases..., hundredfold worse than those die arme Deutschen are now paying after the Anglo blowing of the Nordstream gasoducts...
In the worst of case?.., siamo tutti finiti...
    Capisce...?

Saludos Compadre, I trust all is well and the new Granddaughter and Mother are doing well?

I spoke with and Argentinian friend of mine today, living in BA, definitely not one of the top decile, however works for a company ‘overseas’ and is paid in Dollars (US), so he is surviving quite well, otherwise the situation is dire.

His que to leave will be, if and when, they start delaying Passport renewals (not a problem to him) and seizing accounts with Dollars (US).

Whoever the next Government is after the election, it is going to be a ‘Crock of Shit’.

    TWIMC
Philipponnat, Squashed Duck, a la roadkill.

    à la guillotine avec l'Aristo.

Meanwhile Argentina goes to the Dogs and Puelmapu burns!!!

Oh and Brazil already dances to Beijing’s tune and Argentina is next, best you stay in nice safe, economically and politically stable, Europe.

And last time I checked it was ‘die deutsche arme’, âne!!!

Carefull what you say about Anglos blowing up ‘gasoducts’:

    THINK

I always avoid the Chinese market as it's a zero sum loss...

Frankly it's very sad that your country is in this situation, but it's self inflicted...

Obviously the current idiot US President is playing with nuclear war...

    ...GOD help us all..

    Panquehue...

    You say...:
    - “I always avoid the Chinese market as it's a zero sum loss...”

    I say...:
    - You may personally do..., but our Shile Querido..., with ~40% of its exports going to CHINA and a ~75% - 25% positive foreign trade balance with CHINA..., can hardly be considered “a zero sum loss”...

    Don't be so megalomaniac..., hermanito...!
You are not French..., you are just married to one... ;-)
    Saludos

    Hermanito...

    - I remember you once said you were learning some German for the eventuality of your Benjaminean chancleta becomig an Ehrenarier...

    - Any progress...?

    -Very Basic Test Question...
What is the meaning of the following two short German phrases...:
    A) “Die arme Deutschen”...
    B) “Die Deutsche Armee”...

    Capisce...;-))))))))))

    THINK

With kind respect, instead of debating the fine aspects of German language - perhaps you can explain the outrageous criminal damage being to the entire Argentine economy?

Who are the evil characters involved?

We both know the sad truth...

    Well..., my Shilean Brüderchen...

If...: “We both know the sad truth...”

There ain't nothing “To Explain”..., right...?

But don''t ya worry..., I do catch your drift...
    - Ya' don't want to embarrass your Monolingual Brainwashed Anglo Turnip Compadre with your superior mastering of the German language..., huhhhhhhh...

    Chuckle..., chuckle...

No, it’s just your ‘bad accent’ in German, typical Dane talking with a ‘hot potato in your mouth’ just as the Swedish said.
