Oh, then they will they be able to lend Argentina Yuan, yes?

I don't think there will be time for them to borrow Yuan. The R5 Project (real, renminbi, rand, rupee, ruble) is ready and will be presented, probably, in August in South Africa.

A new currency is being born!

I don't have the details of what this “currency” will look like. It will probably, in my view, be backed by gold (or another commodity, or all commodities). The Central Banks of each BRICS will be able to swap, hedge, loan, guarantee, trade and reserve according to the ballast that exists.

    It's what I think.

”backed by gold (or another commodity, or all commodities). The Central Banks of each BRICS will be able to swap, hedge, loan, guarantee, trade and reserve according to the ballast that exists.”

Foolish dreams, but I wish you luck!

Fair play to you, if it works for trade between BRICS and associated countries?

I suspect there may be problems implementing this, not least agreeing the exchange rate between the 5Rs and then its value against hard currencies like the Dollar.

Tying different currencies, each of a different and floating value on the world market, together and trying to fix their values, has never worked successfully before.

And it has been tried before.

But hey, that doesn’t mean it can’t work, right!

Any ‘ballast ’will quickly be sucked up by Argentina, good luck with ever getting any of that money back.

Heading out this week, Mon ami.

‘Although they consider themselves closer to GOD himself’.

LOL, this I have met before and understand your comment well, but it is only one side of the coin.

One of the Hymns to be sung at the wedding is the Jerusalem, the English anthem.

Sends shivers down my spine, singing it in France will be Glorious.

‘Once more unto the breach, dear friends.’etc. Etc.

Do not worry Compadre, they cannot ‘out front’ me, we out history them.

I trust all is well with you and your ‘Gypsy Clan’, especially the new addition?

    Brasileiro...

    - Don't be too dissapointed about them Anglo Turnips (and that odd “WishIWasAnAnglo” Shilean...) do not know nothing 'bout no money...

-They seem to Tænk that those mere 50 years of the “mighty American FIAT dollar” dominance are an eternity..., for eternity...........

-I Tænk they don't 'ave a clue that..., some 1,300 years ago..., the Chinks invented FIAT money..., printed it on mulberry bark..., called it “Yuan”..., and used it until...., well..., today.....

    - I Tænk they don't 'ave a clue that the greek Drachm was the world's silver based “hard currency” for over 4 centuries...

    - I Tænk they don't 'ave a clue that the Roman Denar was the world's silver based “hard currency” for over 4 centuries too...

    - I Tænk they don't 'ave a clue that the Florentine Florin was the Renaissance world's gold based “hard currency” for about three long centuries ...

Them Anglos should stick their Corn Cob Pipe there where the sun don't shine for a while and learn some manners from history...

    Capisce...?
    ;-)))

was the Chinks that invented FIAT money son

WTF has any of that got to do with a 5Rs currency exchange, in today, the modern world???

Did the Greeks, Romans and Florentines have a common currency exchange going then?

    Roger irrelevant rides again.

    THINK

Although I agree that there are a lot of suitable alternatives, I prefer Dollars, Euros and Pound Sterling to exchange.

No doubt a digital exchange will eventually occur, but I'm very conservative about currency.

Chilean Pesos are also an excellent alternative...

    ¡SALUDOS!

    Estimado Top-1% latifundmomio Shileno...
No surprise that you are “very conservative about currency”...
So are the millions of other Top-1% latifundmomios ALL OVER the World...
Who are getting quite miffed about the lack of Conservatism in USA's economic policies...
And very, very worried about the overabundance of American Exceptionalism in said policies...
They don't want to lose it all..., just because them Yankees suddenly don't like the colour of their knickers...
Seems that many Top-1%ers are looking for alternatives... That's how auld Empires fall and new ones rise...

    Capisce...?

    TO WHOM CONCERNED

I am a humble farmer growing a modest vineyard and orchard in the bountiful Aconcagua Valley.

I object the ridiculous accusation that our humble family partain of the “latifundmomios”...

We simply reside in an adobe home trying to navigate the uncertainty of the perilous export markets, while THINK lavously lives on the Italian coast.

Although I'm concerned of the current American President's foolish administration, hopefully that can be settled soon.

    Cheers!

Well, well I’ve heard it all now, ‘latifundmomios’, ‘Top-1%ers’.

Coming from the Puelmapu Planter with his Estancia in Argie occupied Wallmapu.

Currently residing in the politically and economically stable EU, far from the ‘148.9% inflation by the end of the year’, plaguing his supposed countrymen (although I think more of them are Italian and Spanish than Danish, certainly more S. American).

Meanwhile Sr Stink, casts his pearls of wisdom from afar, whilst eating squashed roadkill at maison Rostang, in Gay Paris.

    à la guillotine avec l'Aristo.

Principles, Pfff, the worst kind of ‘Champagne Socialist’ you will find.

    Hermanito...

    A) IMHO..., it's mostly the rich who “plead” poverty...., we others just endure & prosper in it...

    B) IMHO..., it ain't the current American President nor its current foolish Administration that are the problem for our little shared planet........., IF IN DOUBT..., just skim the CV's of NULAN and BLINKEN...
B¹) IMHO..., it's the current imbalance in WATCHINGTON causing “THA CRISIS”..., it's the “Supemacist-Exceptionalist Yankee Wing” having taken preponderance over the “Realist-Exceptionalist Yankee Wing”..., it's the former wet-dreaming of taking out Russia and China militarily at the same time whilst the latter it's wet-dreaming of taking out Russia and China militarily one by one..., capisce....?

    C) I do notice that you haven't cared to answer me above question 'bout the estethics of Mr. Bezos brand new yacht..., the KORU... :-(

Can Taenk ever post a comment without childish name calling. it is neither funny or clever, in fact quite the opposite, as it shows how immature he is, and on top of that he is racist towards the Chinese too, time he was banned from this site,
