I'm Brazilian and all these demonstrations are purely policital to hide how badly the shouther areas of São Paulo coast are totally taken by drug lords, in order to let them freely “export” their “products” in various ways within legal cargo - the said politicia also neglects the extensive and wide list of crimes the casualties were already known for, and she may even say that children is not scared about their “locals”, who often mock against police and even post their freedom to carry heavy weapons as in a civil war....

Sad, but true, Daniel. What is the solution? More gun control, a la Lula and PT? Less gun control, a la Bolsonaro? Mega prisons a la El Salvador? State sponsored drug war terrorism a la Duterte in the Phillipines? 'Ordem' backed up with draconian penalties a la Singapore? The current conditions must not be allowed to continue or our beloved country will spiral out of control, but I have yet to hear from a responsible group with integrity and moral stature that has come forward with a working proposal.

Indeed my friend, those initiatives are not more than a smallest tip of a giant iceberg if not purest distraction to us common citizens - surprisingly today at one of the goverment's supporting media news, they disclosed the root cause of those deep roots along Santos areas: its simpky a strategic exit door for druglords to supply European drug consumers... https://valorinternational.globo.com/economy/news/2023/08/06/port-of-santos-gains-space-in-cocaine-trafficking-sees-crime-change.ghtml?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=valorinternational - dismantling our education (gladly at least some States' governors were brave enough to keep the civic-military schools alive...) - I'd not defend one or another politician but, to everyone's much regret, our country is just like that submissive wife trying to insist on her 'love“ for her drunk husband, who beats her family up daily, spends all the family's income, gets divorced and once again carries that guilty for not making him be that ”man” who he'll never be, and it'll just get worse... hoping for gods prayers and protecting my deareast one as long as necessary!
