    The world financial and trade systems may be far from perfect, but other countries seem to manage, the trick would seem to be not to get into a situation of enormous and unpayable debt, with raging inflation.

    It takes a lot of hard and dedicated work over many years, to reduce a country with the natural and human resources of Argentina, to abject poverty.

    As for climate change effects, with the exception of the US western countries are no longer the biggest emitters in today or historically, they have been overtaken by developing countries, the global south.

    Add to this emission are falling in western countries whilst still rising steeply in developing countries.

    Perhaps he should have a chat with the Chinese and his mate lula about some compensation for damages.

    10 biggest polluters (2023):

    - China, 9.899 mi/tons CO2;
    - United States, 4.457 mi/tons CO2;
    - Índia, 2.302 mi/tons CO2;
    - Rússia, 1.482 mi/tons CO2;
    - Japan, 1.027 mi/tons CO2;
    - Iran, 678 mi/tons CO2;
    - Germany, 604 mi/tons CO2;
    - South Korea, 577 mi/tons CO2;
    - Saudi Arabia, 570 mi/tons CO2;
    - Canada, 517 mi/tons CO2.

    I could say that Brazil is largely responsible for Pugol still breathing.

    Brazil captured 17 million tons of CO2 in 2021 in net form. In other words, Brazil is responsible for purifying the planet's atmosphere and not polluting it.

    Bras
    You are talking complete rubbish, no change there then.

    Obviously you didn’t bother read the link, as you have little use for evidence, you offer none to support your figures which are clearly made up.

    ‘US is responsible for the largest share of historical emissions, with some 20% of the global total.

    China is second with 11%, followed by Russia (7%), Brazil (5%) and Indonesia (4%). The latter pair are among the top 10 largest historical emitters, due to CO2 from their land.

    Meanwhile, large post-colonial European nations, such as Germany and the UK, account for 4% and 3% of the global total, respectively.’

    Now if you check this link, updated March 2, 2023:

    https://www.wri.org/insights/interactive-chart-shows-changes-worlds-top-10-emitters

    It gives you the current top 10 emitters, of which 5 are developed countries with a total of 13,764.8 MtCO2e and 5 are developing countries with a total of 19,053.4 MtCO2e.

    Note the UK is not in the top 10.

    And I repeat ‘add to this emission are falling in western countries whilst still rising steeply in developing countries.’

    Brazil is a big polluter and getting bigger, as such you can expect to be paying a significant amount into the UN 'loss and damage' fund.
