Although there is no confirmation yet from football's governing body FIFA, there were clues Wednesday morning that the 2030 finals might be played under a format never seen before in the competition's history that will be celebrating 100 years then. Read full article

Only FIFA could come up with something as ridiculous as this. Are they really expecting fans, teams, families etc to travel between 3 continents? Haven't they heard of 'carbon footprint'?
