The latest recommendation forms part of the Commission's broader policy to take determined action on these schemes. Investigations reveal her involvement in a wider criminal scheme, including embezzlement, resulting in 30 criminal charges and 3 arrest warrants.
Global law enforcement agencies are pursuing Murphy, highlighting the vulnerability of the Golden Visa program to exploitation by criminals. This case raises concerns about European security and underscores the need for stricter controls to protect the integrity of such programs.
