Dec 15th, 2023 - 12:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Doplease enlighten us and list some of the finacial aid that UK sends each year to the Falkland Islands?
You will find that other than Defence- it is actually £ZERO - instead the Falklands contributes to the UK Economy these days,
We have been financially self supporting as regards the cost of running our Goverment without UK finacial aid since the 1890s.
And not even money for major capital development infrastructure projects sine the mid 1980s when our offshore fisheries cane into being.
Yeahhhh..., Mr. Pytangua
Dec 15th, 2023 - 02:28 pm - Link - Report abuse -4- You will indeeed find that other than Defence..., that costs the British taxpayers between £300 to 400 millions yearly (all costs inclusive) - it is actually £ZERO...
- Instead the Malvinas/Falklandss contribute with about £10 to15 millions to the UK economy these days...
(That's not discounting them Kelpers free access to the NHS, reduced tuition fees in the UK and many other small perks that add on...)
- It's a bit like them Israelis telling us Gentiles these days that..., OTHER THAN PALESTINIANS..., they have just killed a couple of grosses UN Interntional personnel..., some dozens of International Journalists and some small number of Foreign Catlick and Anglican priests...
Capisce...?
Dear 30 million British tax payers
Dec 15th, 2023 - 09:50 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Are you prepared to pay £10 per year, or 20p per week to keep the Falkland Islanders safe from vermin like Think? Indeed would you pay 20p a week just because it frustrates and annoys impotent imbeciles like Think?
I don’t speak for all of them, but the vast majority would happily pay. Especially in that 18p of the 20 would have to be spent on defence elsewhere.
Happy to pay 20p per week, Monkeymagic,
Dec 15th, 2023 - 09:56 pm - Link - Report abuse +3Happy to pay much more, if necessary.
Dec 16th, 2023 - 02:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Such is the importance the British attach to defending the Islanders rights and British sovereignty in the S. Atlantic/Antarctic territories.
Not to mention keeping Argentina inside its 200nml continental limit, where it belongs.
A South American country, no more, no less.
The cost of defending the Islands is currently met by Her Majesty's Government, and is estimated to amount 0.177% of the total UK Defence budget annually. Beyond the cost of defence, the Falkland Islands do not receive any further financial assistance from the United Kingdom.

People suffering in poverty in England? Argentina is a bankrupt country, the whole country is in poverty, except of course the usual peroncho apparatchiks who now have to worry about prosecution...
