‘no effective actions that would help better control fisheries resources of Malvinas, and its adjoining waters’.
Well to be fair, there were no actions he could take with respect of the Malvinas waters.
‘Adjoining waters’ is another matter altogether.
”wall of fishing vessels to impede squid slipping into the Falklands EEZ”.
A blockade and actually an act of war, where fishing vessels make great target practice, not the most practical or sensible idea.
We shall see what this secretary of other people’s territory is like in practice.
