25.5% in December. 20.6% in January and 13.2% in February so a clear downward trend. Milei is clearly doing a better job of managing the economy than his predecessors.

    I'm reading on Bloomberg that

Milei notches win as Argentina Swaps $50 Billion of Debt
Government sees 77% of notes extended in record rollover!

    Truly a wonderful accomplishment!

    Tænk

There is no reason to express
sour grapes by your President's success.

Respectfully, I think my Argentine neighbors are thankful for a dramatic change to your country.

Sometimes, dramatic change is positive for us all.

Speaking of grapes, our export program was re-programed to the west coast.

Although we did accomplish two shipments to our clients, Wegmans and Tesco; the Panamanian Canal situation forced us to seek new customers in the Pacific.

Fortunately we were accepted by Fred Meyer and Trader Joe's (owned by Aldi Nord) via Long Beach, California.

They both are very excited about our new grape varieties that YOU had specific doubts about.

Meanwhile our Hass avocados are unaffected, as we anticipate the canal recovery resolved with rainfall in the next months.

    Or simply sour grapes...

...in any case, I remain focused on our harvest before any rainfall...

    Weather is currently marvelous!

    Cheers!

    Chicureo,

“Tænk, There is no reason to express sour grapes by your President's success.”

Indeed. Not only is Milei being successful, he is being successful very quickly. He's making the turnaround look surprisingly easy which must be embarrassing for his predecessors.

Tænk is clearly upset that the cult that he has been indoctrinated into has been revealed as incompetent thieves. Nobody likes it when they have been shown to make an error of judgement, but the adult response would be to admit the error and instead of being angry at Milei's success, be angry at the people who have successfully brainwashed you to believe their nonsense for all these years.

...unless he still believes the hype and no amount of improved prosperity or security will convince him otherwise. Some people still prefer to believe politicians' hype over actual facts. Surely it is better to support someone who is evidently doing a good job over someone who claims the can do a good job but have clearly been failing dramatically for many years? If Tænk doesn't understand this simple concept then nothing can be done really except note that the penny seems to be dropping with an increasing number of Argentines.

    Zaphod Beeblebrox & imoyaro

Tænk obviously is not thrilled with Javier Milei taking a remarkable turnaround of the Argentine economy.

Personally I wish a good success for my neighbors, but I anticipate a continued fight from the Peronist establishment.
