An absolutely brilliant investment!!! . Spend money liberarly on 'planes to keep the lads happy instead of using these funds to put the pensioners monthly “hand-out” more up to date with the actual C. of L. Perhaps it would at least assist us to get to the end of the month with a few less worries.

You'd be wasting money on the pensioners, that's ephemeral performance art at best. The planes are a real investment, because they can be kept looking good sitting on the tarmac for decades...
