Brazilian authorities announced that a visa requirement for nationals of Australia, Canada, and the United States was postponed until April 10, 2025, Agencia Brasil reported. The measure was to become effective on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Read full article

Ah, good news indeed. It would be nice, though, if the US would expedite visitor's visa for qualified Brazilians as well. One of our good friends and his wife, well to do, retired, have had to wait 2 years for simple tourist visum out of the Recife consulate. What a disgrace! These folks are keen to travel, spend money and are of zero risk to dive under the radar and stay or work illegally in the US.
