BBC is reporting that declassified documents, --to be kept secret until 2065--, have cleared an army regiment of any blame in the biggest loss of British life during the Falklands War. Forty-eight crew were killed when the Sir Galahad, an unarmed and undefended supply ship carrying British troops to the Falklands, was hit by the Argentine air force bombs on 8 June 1982, six days before the end of the conflict.— Read full article

The decision to delay the findings until 2065 will ensure that none of us veterans will ever know the full detail. That mistakes were made is a given.
