For those that want to learn more and perhaps dissect conflicting accounts and come to their own conclusions, then the book “Reasons in Writing” (A Commando's view of the Falklands War) by Ewen Southby-Taillyour is recommended.

It highlights the series of poor decision-making as well as some of the stupidity associated with the Sir Galahad disaster. The decision to delay the findings until 2065 will ensure that none of us veterans will ever know the full detail. That mistakes were made is a given.
