This guy seems to be controlled by some hallucinogen.

Sanctions, confiscations, suspensions and bans, although they have some bias towards law, are much more about provocation, humiliation, satisfaction, dishonor and, above all, imposition. Little of the law. No freedom.

However, if, by chance, retaliation were to occur at the state level, there would be great losses for everyone. Just remember that while Brazil has around 600 billion dollars invested in the United States, there are at least 2 trillion dollars invested by the United States in Brazil.

I would like to declare my full support for the Supreme Court, which has demonstrated courage and ability to defend Brazilian sovereignty.

“this it not about the USA or sovereignty”

Actually, it is as nobody can act in such an unregulated way according to US anti-trust legistration.
Thus, Brazil is only acting likewise to protect its own sovereignty.

American antitrust law was formally created in 1890 with the U.S. Congress's passage of the Sherman Antitrust Act.[a] Using broad language “unequaled in its generality”, the Sherman Act outlawed “monopolization” and “every contract, combination ... or conspiracy in restraint of trade”.

Every contract, combination in the form of trust or otherwise, or conspiracy, in restraint of trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations, is declared to be illegal. Every person who shall make any contract or engage in any combination or conspiracy hereby declared to be illegal shall be deemed guilty of a felony ....

    — Sherman Act, Section 1 (15 U.S.C. § 1).
Every person who shall monopolize, or attempt to monopolize, or combine or conspire with any other person or persons, to monopolize any part of the trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations, shall be deemed guilty of a felony ....

    — Sherman Act, Section 2 (15 U.S.C. § 2).
