So, according to Mondino, calling the Falklands “the Falklands” is a sign of “leftist ideology”?

Cristina Kircher and the Argentine left should take note. Their rants about “the Malvinas” were really just signs of rightwing ideology.

Kind of petty and pathetic, really. That someone will lose their job for using the correct name. Funnily enough, all these “foreign ministers”, “Governors of the Southern Islands” have never actually visited “their” islands. I would love one of them to pop over for a coffee and chat. I'm sure Ms Mondino would love a stamp in her passport!

As she wouldn’t have to go through customs upon return to Argentina, she could buy thing there and pay no Argentinian tax or duty on it and bring it back to Argentina completely legally.

Probably arrange to have a suitcase full of USD waiting for her at the local bank.

If Argentina doesn't want to have the bodies of soldiers fallen and buried in the Falklands during the 1982 war identified, they can just say so.

The Falklands parliament should oppose the attempt to call the Falklands Islands “Malvinas” instead of Falklands (or perhaps Falklands/Malvinas), and simply not acknowledge “Malvinas”.
