Disclaimer & comment rulesSo what is this 'dependency'? Is it not better to achieve and surpass energy self-sufficiency than remain dependent on hard currency petroleum imports? If Brazil uses the income wisely and does not squander it like Ecuador and Venezuela have, the net impact should be positive for the average Brazilian. Having said that, I (along with everyone) am still waiting for a drop in fuel prices.
