i don't think falklands would accept handouts as they don't need any with millions of pounds in government reserves built up by year on year surpluses both planned and unplanned. falklands gdp per capita was £76k in 2022 which is more than double the uk figure of £37k. falklands might be receptive to providing scientific research grants or loans to the mother country or other bots. it would represent positive pr for the islands!
