I do not hate any country, being that each one is made of people, the majority of whom are typically perfectly nice folks. I have some negative perceptions of nations or cultures, but one must be very careful to hedge an impulse to judge. After living in a bunch of countries and getting to know the people, I found myself re-evaluating my opinions every single time. BTW, far be it for me to respond to off topic ad-hominem characterizations, I do wish it to be known that I resent being called a 'yankee'; gringo is fine, but like most rational folks who know something about the ever present 'NY' baseball caps, I cringe every time I run across them, just like the the other 29 team fans. I am a Mariners fan and we 'hate' the pinstripes. :-)
