Brazil saw a 32.4% decline in deforestation, with five out of six biomes experiencing reductions, MapBiomas -a network of NGOs, universities, and technology companies- reported this week. The Atlantic forest remained virtually stable -a 2% increase- while the Pantanal, Pampa, Cerrado, Amazon, and Caatinga all saw decreases. Read full article
