Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who was under house arrest serving a 27-year prison sentence for masterminding the Jan. 8, 2023, attempted coup d'état, was transferred Saturday to a detention facility after he tampered with his ankle tracking device. A part of my life rejoices at the arrest of the man who murdered my father when he delayed the purchase of the COVID-19 vaccine offered by Pfizer to the Brazilian government in an attempt to receive a bribe for the purchase.
