    Thanks for first-class synopsis of the potential next steps. Of course any deal with Iran could be reneged upon by US/Israel, but the window for unilateral, spontaneous action is closing, come the mid-terms.

    I have concerns about the cost of re-building Iran's infrastructure and how leaving the country as is, will only lead to more discord and hostile state action. And, (a big and) would be an acknowledgement as to the responsibility for destroying the school on Day One.

    One thing my UK Army service taught me, was how to “win the peace” once the bombs stop falling. It will be a hard road for those states caught up in the destruction and not over “in a matter of weeks”.
