Argentine President Javier Milei is leading Thursday's central ceremony marking Veterans Day and the Day of the Fallen in the Falklands War, at Plaza San Martín in Buenos Aires's Retiro neighborhood, where the cenotaph honoring soldiers killed in the 1982 conflict stands. The ceremony, scheduled for 10 a.m., includes a presidential address, a wreath-laying, and a minute of silence before the unknown soldier plaque. Read full article

    Most Germans today view World War II through the prism of guilt, responsibility and atonement. And almost all agree that the defeat of the Nazis was a good thing. Shouldn't the same be true for the Argentines and the Falklands War?
