President Trumps say they are close to a deal, hence the pause (heard that before methinks), the Iranians say they are not talking (heard that before, as well).

Both cannot be true.

If the Iranians are betting on TACO, then that is a dangerous game to play with someone like Trump.

This could get worse before it gets better.

Longer term Iran has already overplayed its hand, the race is on for the gulf countries to find alternative way to market for their exports, avoiding Hormuz.

3-5 years from now the straight of Hormuz will not be the choke point it is today for the gulf countries, but it will still be for Iran.

So are the Iranians, that’s what makes it so interesting.

So far Trump has been telling more truths than the Iranians.
