Argentina to mark every July 15 with the World Cup win that revived the Falklands dispute
The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has established July 15 as National Football Teams Day, in tribute to the 2-1 win over England in the 2026 World Cup semi-final, the same match after which several players displayed a banner asserting a sovereignty claim over the Falklands that prompted a FIFA disciplinary case. You can't have a sovereignty claim in 1833, sign a peace treaty in 1850 and not mention the Falkland Islands for some 34 years then reinvent the claim.

And another game that was rigged was the French-English game. When in the hell has England ever, in their entire careers, scored so many goals? Unheard of, and then allow France to score enough so that Mbappe could receive the golden ball trophy; give me a break! The Argentine squad was told to lose the game or risk being banned from participating in a World Cup for the next ten years? Yes, the Argentine squad has the best fan base, the best coach and the best player the world has ever witnessed! No, not everyone hates Argentina; there are whole countries who back them, including Scotland, Wales and Ireland!

The England/France scoreline was very simple, playing to win and not concentrating on not losing, like Argentina failed to do in the final.
Nothing to do with any ‘puff of smoke from behind a grassy knoll’.
As for banning Argentina for the next ten years, that would be nice and well deserved for the flag incident, not to mention the behaviour at the end of the final.
But it ain’t gonna happen, best will in the world and we all know that.
Anyway, world cups happen in 4-year cycles, so an 8- or 12-year ban.
Scotland, Wales an Ireland do not support Argentina at all, some dislike the English football team and rooted for Argentina in that match against England.

when has England scored lots of goals before ? a simple research will reveal it, including beating Germany 5-1 in Germany,

Argentina may as well not have been in the final; they weren't playing, and if you couldn't see that, you need glasses. If you knew the FIFA rules, you would know it's a ten-year ban. The 5-1 win for England was a World Cup QUALIFIER; it wasn't an actual World Cup game. Kane and Bellingham, a lot of talk about them but no cigar.

Kane scored 6 goals and Bellingham 4, 10 of England’s total of 11 (Rashford scored the other one).
Kane earns £415,000 per week, club basic wage, and Bellingham £345,000 per week basic wage. Add on advertising and endorsements to that.
And no cigar, ha!
Argentina, a lot of talk, but no Islands and no world cup, oh and no cigar as well.
