  Argentina: Daughter of minister's bodyguard killed during robbery

  

  Nine-year-old Umma, the daughter of an Argentine Federal Police (PFA) officer who serves on Security Minister Patricia Bullrich's bodyguard team, died Monday from a bullet wound to her head when the family was robbed at gunpoint, it was reported in Buenos Aires.

  Security minister announces Argentine forces are allowed to use tasers

  

  Argentine federal police and security forces will now be allowed to use non-lethal weapons like electric tasers, following a Security Ministry decree signed on Monday. Officers will “be able to deal with situations” which do not require the use of force “without employing firearms,” the decree reads.
