  Falklands' 'fk' domain battle at the ICANN Buenos Aires conference

  

  The British government has stood up to Argentina in a battle over the Falkland Islands' right to exist in cyberspace at the ICANN conference in Buenos Aires. Argentina is furious that the disputed territory is allowed to give websites a “.fk” address - identifying them as hailing from the disputed territory and brought up the issue during the current conference.

  British Overseas Territories tax havens hold £ 4 trillion, claims Oxfam

  

  People using tax havens have deprived governments worldwide of £100 billion in revenue, enough to end extreme poverty twice over, according to new figures published by Oxfam. The total amount of lost tax revenue is far higher than £100 billion, as the figure only includes tax dodged by individuals, and not companies.
