  Welsh farmers took to the streets in Cardiff to protest the Sustainable Farming Scheme, SFS, considered by the agriculture unions to be “unworkable.” Proposals would require farmers to commit 10% of agricultural land to be used for trees and 10% for wildlife habitat. South Wales Police said about 3,000 people turned up at the Senedd.

  Vehicles were set on fire and dozens of young people clashed with police in Wales in what authorities described as “large scale disorder” following a road accident with two teenagers killed in a motorcycle crash. The unrest broke out in the district of Ely in Cardiff Monday night.

  Argentine embassy thanks UK government efforts in locating the aircraft carrying Emiliano Sala

  

  Following the discovery of the plane carrying Argentine football player Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson on Sunday, the UK’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) issued a press release midday Monday reporting that “in video footage from the ROV, one occupant is visible amidst the wreckage” of the fuselage identified on the seabed.

  Celebrations for 150th anniversary of Welsh settlements in Argentine Patagonia

  

  Argentine Ambassador in the United Kingdom, Alicia Castro, and the Welsh First Minister, Carwyn Jones, who will visit Argentina this year, jointly inaugurated in Cardiff celebrations commemorating the settlement of the Welsh in Argentina in 1865. Several activities have been planned both in Patagonia and Wales to celebrate the 150th anniversary.
