  Chemical castration an option for rapists of minors, says Peru's President

  

  Peruvian President Pedro Castillo Terrones Saturday announced he was eyeing the use of mandatory chemical castration for rapists of minors, adolescents, and women in a move to curb the increasing number of such crimes. The initiative would require Congressional approval.

  Bolivian Senator Erick Morón from the Creemos party has announced Tuesday he submitted a bill whereby chemical castration and life imprisonment would be added to the current Penal Code against rapists and murderers.
