  Christina Koch shatters spaceflight record for female astronauts with eleven months in the Space Station

  

  NASA's Christina Koch returned to Earth safely on Thursday after shattering the spaceflight record for female astronauts with a stay of almost 11 months aboard the International Space Station. Koch touched down at 0912 GMT on the Kazakh steppe after 328 days in space, along with Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency and Alexander Skvortsov of the Russian space agency.

  Shame on NASA: Lack of proper sized spacesuit impedes the first all female spacewalk

  

  What should have been a giant leap for womankind has turned into a stumble on the path to equality after U.S. space agency NASA canceled the first all-female spacewalk due to a lack of a spacesuit in the right size. Anne McClain and Christina Koch had been due to step into history books in a spacewalk Friday, during the final week of Women's History Month.
