    Criminal complaint filed in London regarding sale of Argentine ID document

    Esteban's lawyer in London told MercoPress he attempted to recover the ID with assistance fromDWB auction house but they were unsuccessful.

    LONDON, UK – A criminal complaint was filed this week with the Metropolitan Police in London regarding the sale of Argentine veteran of the 1982 conflict, Edgardo Esteban’s identity document. The complaint refers to the sale of his ID document by a London auction house and then trading website which according to the complaint is illegal as it was stolen property.

    Malvinas Veteran in tears after his Argentine military ID was sold on the UK eBay website

    The ID belongs to the director of the Malvinas Museum in Buenos Aires, Edgardo Esteban, 58. He was moved to tears that it had surfaced after 38 yeares.

    LONDON, UK – Almost forty years after the Falklands conflict the identity document of an Argentine soldier has been sold on the UK eBay website. It belongs to the director of the Malvinas Museum in Buenos Aires, Edgardo Esteban, 58. He expressed his dismay at the sale and was moved to tears that it had surfaced after all this time.
