  Milei reinstates ambassador Foradori, who signed the Falklands 2016 Joint Communiqué

  

  An Argentine professional diplomat, who was vilified by the Kirchnerite political establishment for having signed during the mandate of ex-president Mauricio Macri (2015/2019), a Joint Communiqué with Foreign Office minister Alan Duncan in September 2016, has been reinstated as ambassador, head of the different organizations that function in Geneva, Switzerland.

  Argentine Defense minister Jorge Taiana said that leaving aside former Deputy Foreign minister's alleged conduct during negotiations with British diplomats, --if proven true would be “shameful”--, what is really “serious, negative and disturbing” is that the joint communiqué put an end to Argentine sanctions on foreign companies involved in illegal fishing and oil exploration activities in Malvinas Islands with the authorization of British authorities.

  Tierra del Fuego condemns 1989 Madrid Treaty and UK “unilateral actions” in the South Atlantic  

  

  “Thirty years since the Madrid Treaty: rethinking a new national strategy for Malvinas”, was the heading of the conference held in the extreme south Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego with the participation of the governor, Rosana Bertone, former foreign minister Jorge Bielsa, and the Malvinas Question related affairs Secretary, Jorge Arguello a diplomat and one of possible foreign minister names if the opposition candidate Alberto Fernandez wins the presidential election this month.
