According to a study published on Wednesday by the Institute for Economics and Peace, Colombia and Venezuela have been considered the “least peaceful” countries in Latin America due to socio-political conflicts and internal violence.
Coupled with deterioration in the world's economy, the Global Peace Index (GPI) for the year 2021 has been reported to have fallen 0.3% on average to reach its lowest level in 15 years, the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) announced this week.
