A decommissioned Hercules C 130 from the Argentine Air Force and which was involved in combat, transport, surveillance, and supply operations during the Falkland Islands war has arrived at Pilar, a city in the province of Buenos Aires, where there is a monument to the fallen during the 1982 conflict.
An Argentine Air Force Hercules C-130 aircraft has landed Sunday in Cuba to deliver syringes, needles, surgical masks, gloves and other medical supplies furnished by the White Helmets and the Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, among other organizations.
The Search and Rescue operation of the Chilean Air Force’s C-130, that made full use of assets and personnel available of the Falkland Islands Government (FIG), the British Forces South Atlantic Islands (BFSAI) and the Government of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands (GSGSSI), continues along with the Chile’s search command, according to a joint statement released on Friday:
Argentine reportedly has agreed to purchase several refurbishedDassault-Breguet Super Étendard fighter bombers originally from the French navy. Apparently the Mirages are similar to those Argentine used during the Falklands conflict in 1982 and will be incorporated to the Air Force, as part of an Argentine re-equipment of its military forces.
