Peru's Health Minister Hernando Cevallos Thursday said closing the countries' beaches for the remainder of the Summer season was not on the agenda.
The Government of Peru has decided people over 18 years of age who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 will be banned from closed public places as of Monday. The measures include shopping malls, restaurants and banks.
Peru's authorities have extended the current COVID-19 sanitary restrictions until September 5, it was announced Sunday.
