  Falklands: good news for FIGAS, next NB Islander assembly “scheduled in the coming weeks”

  

  Falkland Islands Government Air Service, FIGAS, Britten-Norman has confirmed that the first new Islander to be produced through its fully reshored UK production line has reached 75% completion at the company’s Bembridge facility on the Isle of Wight, with final assembly scheduled in the coming weeks.

  Falklands second flight, this time to Sao Paulo set to start in November

  

  Falkland Islands' lawmaker MLA Barry Elsby told the Legislative Assembly that the new Latam flight to São Paulo is set to start in November, adding that contractual negotiations with the air carrier are “well advanced and nearing completion.”

  Falklands makes public AAIB investigation into Islander VP-FBM incident

  

  The Falkland Islands government has made public the release from the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch referred to an incident involving one of the Islands Air Service Islander, during a regular landing last June.
