  Latin American left wing leaders expecting progressive victories in Chile and Brazil

  

  The Puebla Group, a gathering of left-wing leaders from Latin America and Spain held a meeting in Mexico on Tuesday to celebrate the victory of Xiomara Castro in the Honduran presidential election and looked forward to similar triumphs by Chilean candidate Gabriel Boric in December and hopefully Lula da Silva next year in Brazil.

  Eighth Labour MP joins Independent Group: blasts Stalinist clique which surrounds Corbyn

  

  Joan Ryan has become the eighth British Labour MP to quit the party in the past 48 hours, citing its tolerance of a “culture of anti-Jewish racism”. The Enfield North MP said she was “horrified, appalled and angered” by Labor's failure to tackle anti-Semitism, saying its leadership allowed “Jews to be abused with impunity”.

  Venezuela: Socialist International recognizes Guaidó and calls Maduro “illegitimate”

  

  The Council of the Socialist International (SI) approved a communique on Tuesday where they recognize deputy Juan Guaidó and the Venezuelan National Assembly as the only legitimate power of leading a process of democratic transition in Venezuela.
